Cellulose
Cellulose is an insulation upgrade that pays off for everyone. It is
an over 80% recycled product obtained primarily from newsprint and
is an environmentally safe product. Our installers are some of the
best in the area! The blown cellulose is tested for fungi
resistance, corrosion resistance; and the fire retardant system
includes boric acid, which is permanently impregnated into the
cellulose fibers during the manufacturing process. Cellulose
provides a higher sound transmission classification (STC) than
fiberglass while increasing the benefits of having fire-retardant
wall cavities. An R per inch of 3.75 is certified.
